The department of Health Services trains students for careers in healthcare management and health policy to improve both the population and individual health by:

• Producing high quality research findings
• Understanding the core challenges in the performance of health organizations
• Implementing the education to improve quality of health care in the United States and globally

The faculty is committed to providing a first-class comprehensive public health education, while the extensive alumni system links each graduate to the Program and supports the department as well as the Health Services Students through grants and in-kind services.
